If we were having tea today, I’d tell you that…this is rather belated, but guess who got to go to Expo East this year! I’d only ever been to one other expo (GFAF last year, and I’m planning on going again this year!).

I’d been excited about going to Expo East for ages, and am super glad that I managed to make it work with my schedule this year…

…but I was so not prepared for the epic proportions. :O (And apparently Expo West is 129438x bigger?!)

I’m just gonna chalk it up to me living in West Virginia for several years–I’m really not used to large crowds anymore. I’d also spent the days leading up to it studying (I’d taken part 3 of my boards licensing exam only 4 days prior) and  and had been at work every day since then whilst trying to fight off a cold. #residencylife I also got to meet Erica while I was out here! :]!!! She gave me some tips on how to tackle/make the most of the expo, which was definitely much appreciated! :o

This is Day 2’s haul! (The rest of my photos and such are going to pop in in posts over the next couple months! :P )

My shoulders were legit bruised from carrying bags around, and I have enough snacks to last me probably til the next Expo (+ enough juice to do a juice cleanse for the next week, if I believed in those). It was awesome, and I had a ton of fun–I hope I can go next year too!

If we were having tea today, I’d tell you that…two of my friends came to visit me and we decided to eat our way through New York (+ see the Empire State Building and the Statue of Liberty)! We haven’t seen each other since May, which is actually a shorter duration than usual, but it was awesome exploring New York with them!

We had some fun hanging out at Dylan’s Candy Bar and happened upon some unicorn poop and snot…

So much deliciousness!! *-*

If we were having tea today, I’d tell you that…my fellow PGY2s and I finally got to hang out again! (The last time this got to happen was back in April or May! We started with lunch over at Joe’s place (he shall henceforth be known as the “host with the most!”)! Look how nicely he put everything together for all of us!! :O!

 We went off to Terhune Orchards to go apple picking! :] (We have a bucket list that we’ve been slowly working through, and this was one of em’!)
They have wine tasting at the orchards too! I don’t drink, but thankfully I have a fellow non-alcohol buddy! We had our apple cider, which was the inspiration for my Baked Apple Cider Doughnuts!

I have super exciting news in my upcoming “Day in the Life” post this Monday, but would definitely appreciate lots of good thoughts that it works out (major scheduling woes that are unfortunately completely out of my control :'(!!!)!
