Welcome to another Ultimate Coffee Date of 2022! Anything big life updates this month? (I have a big one! :O!!!)
Ultimate Coffee Date: May 2022
I brought Muffs in for a checkup and the vet tech brought her back saying, “I would have been back a few minutes earlier but everyone wanted to cuddle with her because she’s so sweet!” ❤️
If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d…tell you that I have a ginormous life update to share! (Probably the biggest one since graduating med school/residency!)
It is an update on the last section from our last coffee date — I’ll negate the suspense — we bought a house!!! If all goes well (which hopefully it will!), we’ll be closing by the end of this month!!
Yes, that is a smiley face. 😅 We discovered that the handles on the garage door were purely decorative.
The commute is a tad longer than I would’ve liked (if I can go back to jiu-jitsu regularly again, traffic will not be an issue), but it has an absolutely gorgeous kitchen and a yard and pretty much everything else I’ve ever dreamed of.
No photos of the inside as we haven’t moved in yet, but I’ll update as time goes on. There’s space for us to build our own home gym and I’m also hoping to plant things eventually! We’re also gonna have our own office/nerd cave! :D
If we were having coffee/tea today, I’d…tell you that I randomly mentioned TurboTax in a tweet reply to someone asking how people filed their taxes and they sent me box of goodies including a popcorn popper, a jar of red popcorn, a pair of socks, and an LED projector! (This reminds me of how I got my meal prep bag!) I’m looking forward to a future movie night!

Wow! That’s exciting!!! Your house sounds amazing. No, I don’t have a home gym. While my son has been away at college I’ve been using his room as my “gym” but he comes home next week (uh oh.). I can’t wait to see more pictures of your house.
