If we were having tea today, if you didn’t see from my previous posts…I passed my boards!!! I just have one more next April before I’m done taking 8 hour exams (at least until 7-10-ish years later…). This one was a long time in coming because the last time I tried to take it, the building lost power when I was 1.5 hours into the test and I wasn’t able to reschedule it until a month later. It took an extra 2 weeks for my score to come back (aka 6 weeks total), but on the plus side, I got my score the day my parents came to visit, so at least I had happy news for them!

If we were having tea today, I’d tell you that…REI is such a dangerous store to walk into. I went there a couple weeks ago to spend my dividend and forserious, every time I go, I ask myself why I’m not rich and why I rarely ever have free time. I wanna buy out the store and do all the things! *-*

I attended an event there 2 weeks ago and entered the sweepstakes for a free backpacking pack and I got a call yesterday that I won it!!!

I also may or may not have gone to a physician recruiting event a week prior to that and won the drawing for a gift card to Amazon! <3!!

I’m planning to finally revive my Travel Tuesdays so I can also talk about cool places to visit and/or more outdoorsy things to do. :]! I even made a clickable hiking/travel map (located over on my Travel Bucket List post)!

If we were having tea today, I’d tell you that…it’ll be my birthday in 2 weeks! I managed to get that weekend off and it just so happens to be the start of National Park Week! I’m planning on going hiking in Shenandoah and also visiting Lewisburg/Please Save A Cat. <3 I got a giant cat tree for the cats with the aforementioned gift card from above so I can’t wait to see em’ hanging out on it! :]

I may have gone a little overboard with our hiking plans for the 2-ish days we’ll get to be there, but better to be overly ambitious than not get any exploring done at all…?

If we were having tea today, I’d tell you that…while I did end up applying for the chief resident position (as did 80%, aka 4/5 of my class, hahaha), I didn’t end up getting the position. I am a-okay with this though because it means that I get to have a whole hell of a lot more free time to do what I want (aka cover more sporting events, do more community medicine/volunteer, work out + go to town on the clubs I’m a part of and/or still want to join).
