COM week (Celebrate Osteopathic Medicine) starts tomorrow, and will basically be featuring a bunch of events and guest speakers all week. Its purpose is to inspire and educate the WVSOM students/faculty/staff about osteopathic approaches to health care and to educate our community about the osteopathic profession.

For one of our courses (Early Clinical Encounters), we have coat tail sessions where we’re assigned to a physician for a couple hours and basically follow them around/see real patients (although clearly, I’m just limited to taking patient histories right now). I love these sessions because it reminds me of why I’m in med school …
Since my blog is invariably always taken up by food recipes, I guess I don’t really talk about my life all that much, aside from the little snippets here and there before I get on with the recipe. I don’t talk about school too much, so I thought I’d throw in a curve ball today.
