Welcome to our weekly Foodie Friday link up! I’m linking up with Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama + Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl to create awesome healthy recipes each week! This week’s theme is Kitchen Cleanse! I have a super easy 4-ingredient recipe for strawberries in passion fruit flavored chia for you today!
Last week during our weekly conference lectures, my friend gave me a new snack she’d found at the store–Del Monte’s Fruit & Chia!
It comes in a number of different flavors (Peaches in Strawberry Dragon Fruit Flavored Chia, Pears in Blackberry Flavored Chia, Mangoes in Pineapple Flavored Chia, Mixed Fruit in Tropical Flavored Chia), and didn’t look too hard to recreate, so I figured I’d try my hand at making my own!
What I love about this recipe is how versatile it is! You can use whatever type of fruit or juice you want, so the sky’s the limit with this one! I’d made a post-workout smoothie with passionfruit puree but had some left over that I’d stored in a mason jar, so I figured I’d work with that!
Strawberries in Passion Fruit Flavored Chia
This makes for a really great refreshing mid-day snack or if you want something cold and/or sweet! :] Plus, with only 4 ingredients and a less-than-3-minute prep time, what’s not to like!?
