Smoky Mountain Deer Farm and Exotic Petting Zoo

Fee: $15.99 for 13+ ($9.99 for 3-12yo, 99 cents for 1-2yo, and 9 cents for kids under 1yo!)
Hours: 10am – 5:30pm (last ticket sales no later than 4pm), open year-round 7 days a week except for Thanksgiving Day + Christmas Day

Their facility has full-time year-round animal care staff there to maintain clean environments for the animals + tend to the animals’ daily needs.

Some of em’ may give you a little attitude, hehehe.

The souvenir animal cups are $3.50 for a 32 oz cup and $2.50 for a 22 oz cup (refills = half price!).

We ended up getting 2 souvenir cups between the 3 of us and it was plenty to give a little to everyone!

There are (of course) deer, but also Rocky Mountain elk, goats, camels, zebras, a zonkie (zebra + donkey), emus, miniature horses, miniature donkeys, reindeer, exotic cattle, Watusi (cattle with ginormous horns!), bunnies, and baby goats!

The fawn + elk are born from late May through July, so it’s a great time to go then! (We went in late April, so a little bit too early for that.)

Twas a fun way to spend the afternoon! There’s a lot to do in the Pigeon Forge area and Sevierville is only a ~15 minute drive away, so it’s an easy squeeze into your itinerary! :]

They have horseback riding available there as well, but I can’t speak to that since we didn’t ride with them. You can find out more about them at their website.
