Welcome to our weekly Foodie Friday link up! I’m linking up with Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama, Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl + Jess from Hello To Fit to create awesome healthy recipes each week! This week’s theme = Food Blogger Love!
Oh em gee you guys! Best discovery ever of the week–I can get into the Rutgers gyms!!! I’d heard mention that this was a possibility but no one’s ever tried it. My unsuccessful attempts at adulting by finding studios/gyms to take classes at have been completely unfruitful because none of them are close enough or have the hours that I could potentially make.
The awesomeness about being able to masquerade as a college student get into Rutgers gyms = I can join the sports clubs!!!
When I crashed the RU Involvement Fair 5 years ago, there were a ton of clubs I wanted to join, but I told myself I needed to focus on getting into med school (sigh), so I never did. :[ Clearly, I am nothing if not consistent, because I’m still very much interested in joining the same things.
- Salsa club
- BJJ Club
- Outdoor Club
- Powerlifting Club
I’d also love to join the Equestrian + Gymnastics club but pretty sure they’d never take me and my severe lack of free time ever would probably bar me from doing this. But…maybe the above 4 would work? Kindasorta? (One can dream!)
This week, I’m sending some food blogger love over to one of our Foodie Friday co-hosts–Esther! She made this super delicious Protein Peppermint Hot Chocolate a couple months ago and I wanted to semi-replicate it!
But I also had a whole lot of protein powder I wanted to use up, so I’m altering it in accordance to what I had hanging out in my kitchen! :O
Today’s the last day of my last rotation of 2016! I’m headed back home to California tomorrow to hang out with my friends and family and I’m super excited! :] (I haven’t seen them since June!) I have several posts scheduled in anticipation of this since I’ve packed my 2 weeks with a billion activities because who the hecks needs sleep when there are loved ones to see!? <3
