I’m back again, this time with my new finds from the GFAF Expo! If you missed my post on what the GFAF Expo is and/or want to check out my old favorites, make sure you check out those links. Otherwise, here are some of my favorite new finds at the GFAF Expo!
I received free entry into the GFAF Expo, but as always, all thoughts + opinions are mine and mine alone!
New Finds at the GFAF Expo
Bio K Plus
Bio K+ comes in a variety of different flavors (original, strawberry, blueberry, mango–the latter two are vegan!), and I’m a sucker of fruity flavors and a hater of swallowing pills, so this is right up my alley. (I’ve gotten free probiotic supplements in pill form before and they’re still kinda chillin’ because…well, I can’t swallow pills. ._.)
I love that they have the studies to back up their claims. I typically prescribe probiotics to my patients in the hospital and recommend them to my patients in the clinic if I’m starting an antibiotic on them, as probiotics seem to help with antibiotic-induced diarrhea!
Biena
Chickpea snacks do seem to be all the rage lately, and I can definitely see why (they’re so tasty!)! Biena Snacks makes protein-packed and high-fiber chickpea snacks that come in a variety of different flavors, so whether you’re craving sweet or savory, they probably have one that’ll satisfy your cravings.
Flavors include Sea Salt, Organic Sea Salt, Honey Roasted, Habanero, Barbeque, Cinnamon Crunch, Rockin’ Ranch, Sour Cream & Onion, Thin Mints(!), Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, and Salted Caramel. They’re also gluten-free, vegan, and non-GMO-verified!
Hoboken Farms
Hoboken Farms is actually relatively close to me (less than an hour’s drive if there’s no traffic) but I hadn’t had a chance to try their pasta sauce until recently.
- Marinara
- Basil Marinara
- Ultra Low Sodium Marinara Sauce
- Vodka Sauce
These are non-GMO verified, low-sodium, gluten-free, cholesterol-free, and vegan, with no sugar added. Pro tip from them on balancing out the acidity of pasta sauces = add 2.5 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil!
NaturalVert
Naturalvert is a NJ-based company that makes delicious granola with organic ingredients. Honey Macadamia Nut with White Chocolate, Banana Cinnamon with Dried Banana Chips, and Passion Fruit with Dried Mango!
I love all things passion fruit, so I’m clearly biased toward that last one, but the Honey Macadamia Nut one calls my name as well (that’s one of my favorite cookie flavors)! The stores that sell em’ are mostly in the NJ area, but you can grab a pack online as well!
Petit Pot
You can maybe low-key tell that this was my favorite discovery because (a) I took a selfie with it and (b) I have two photos of it. <3 The logo is so darn cute (apparently his name is Louis! hahaha), and the desserts are delicious! My favorite is the coconut rice pudding, but word on the street is that they’re coming out with a Mango Passion Fruit Rice Pudding soon, so you can bet I’ll be all over that once it’s in the store! *-*
Pot de creme = loose French dessert custards, and these come in a variety of different flavors, including…dark chocolate, Madagascar vanilla, salted caramel, lemon curd, and riz au lait. Happiness in a jar indeed–these desserts from Petit Pot are sustainably packaged in convenient, reusable, petite (hehe) glass jars and the desserts are gluten-free + made of simple and organic ingredients.
Full Flavor Foods
Full Flavor Foods offers a variety of different gluten-free soup stocks, cheese sauces, gravies, and cream soups/sauces. All their products are made in a gluten-free and nut-free environment and 2% of profits are donated to celiac research projects!
Their products are free from MSG, nuts, artificial flavor/preservatives/colors, barley, oats, trans fat, eggs, wheat, rye, and hydrogenated oils!
- Have you heard of any of these companies? Which one would you want to check out first?!
- What are your favorite flavors when it comes to desserts?

I’ve never heard of any of these companies! I love that quite a few of them are vegan as well as gluten-free. And I love roasted chickpeas, so I’ll have to see if I can find Biena!

Ooo, I hope you can! They were so good! (I need to try out the other flavors! *-*)
I haven’t heard of any of these – new brands usually take a while to get to our grocery stores. The PetitPot is super cute!
I hope they get to you soon! :o! And agreed–I really liked them! (Cannot wait for the passionfruit mango flavor to grace the stores here! *-*)

Agreed! :D Those are usually the ones I’m most excited for! :P
Discovering new products and companies is one of the many things I love about expos. I’ve never heard of any of these companies before, but being able to try out products risk free is always a big benefit about seeing new-to-me companies like this at expos.
