I made this a while ago over pasta, but figured it’d taste even better over rice, since it’d absorb the flavors more, so I made it again. Trial and error! :O It’s become my standard go-to “recipe” for whenever I’m feeling super lazy, mainly because it’s so easy (+ relatively quick and not devastatingly unhealthy).
Honey Soy Sauce Chicken
Ingredients:
-honey
-soy sauce
-chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
-frozen vegetables
-spinach
-rice, cooked
-EVOO (tiny amount)
Instructions:
1) Cook rice. (I use a rice cooker, so I can’t really say much more than this.)
2) While rice is cooking, heat up a pan with a little olive oil, and throw in the chicken. Drizzle with honey and soy sauce.
3) After the chicken’s been cooking for a bit, throw in the frozen vegetables. Add spinach last to prevent complete wiltage. Serve over rice!
I didn’t include measurements because I honestly just went by how good it smelled… :X
