Oh world, do you have any idea how much I love potatoes? :D? They’re such a magical substance (I feel the same way about bread too, haha.)
I’m not sure I can really even name a single favorite way to prepare potatoes–they’re good in so many different forms and varieties! :]
This recipe is super versatile and you’ll probably notice that I didn’t actually include any measurements or anything because…well, we didn’t use any. This was very much a “to taste” recipe and we just added more of different herbs and spices as we saw fit.
Someday, I may come back here and fix this up/redo the picture and all that goodness, but…today is not that day.
Herbed Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
- potatoes, mashed
- dill
- parsley
- onion
- garlic, minced
- butter
- salt
- milk
Instructions:
- Boil potatoes with half an onion (whole onion if you have a ton of potatoes).
- Add salt, to taste and “boil the bejeezus out of it.”
- Start mashing em’ and add minced garlic, butter, milk. Mix in parsley and dill.
