Welcome to another Travel Tuesday! I’m taking you back to Scotland again (we’re going to be jumping all over the globe as I attempt to catch up on all the travel posts I haven’t written yet >_>), off to the Quiraing in the Isle of Skye!
Exploring the Quiraing in Skye
The Quiraing is located in the same region as the Old Man of Storr as it’s part of the Trotternish ridge as well! It is home to some seriously breathtaking landscapes.
Distance: 6.8km (~4.22 miles)
Parking: Free, but come early since it’s not that big and will likely fill up quickly, especially if you come during summer months!
The entire loop will take about 2 hours if you don’t stop, but I’d definitely recommend bringing a camera to take pictures and also making stops to just take in the stunning views.
Use extreme caution if attempting to hike this during very windy conditions (or just avoid that altogether if you can). Visibility will likely be pretty low when it’s super misty/foggy out, so maybe try to avoid those too if you can.
I didn’t do a full-on hike for this one either because we came here by tour bus (more on that in a separate post–it was definitely worth it for all the things we got to see on a single day)!
It was pretty cloudy the day we went, but we even managed to enjoy some blue skies for a bit while we were exploring the Quiraing! :]
I’d love to come back here to actually hike it someday, but I’m glad we got to stop by to walk around and enjoy the beautiful views! <3

I hope so too, for the both of us! :D!
Wow! I’ve been to Scotland but I did not get to explore the Quiraing! I’ll definitely need to add that to my list for when I get back there.
I hope you get to visit! It’s so pretty there!!
I’ve never been to Scotland, but it looks amazing! Beautiful pics!!
Thank you! I wanna go back!!
Oh, how beautiful! I’ve never been to Scotland but it is on my list.
I think Maui was probably the prettiest place I’ve been to, either that or Venice. Very different, but both so stunning.

It really does! *-*
gorgeous! I have been to Scotland many times, mostly to Glasgow or Edinburgh. I have however been up to Glencoe and Fort William on a more extended trip (usually just go for the weekend).
The prettiest place? That’s really hard to answer! Croatia (Dubrovnik), Greece (Rethymnon), Portugal along the coast, anywhere really with an amazing beach and body of water :)

Ooo, I’ve never been to Glasgow but would love to go there too!
I’ve never been to Croatia or Portugal, but you’re givin’ me the travel bug, haha. I love places with pretty beaches (or pretty much any pretty body of water) too! :D
Scotland will FOREVER hold a huge place in my heart as it’s where my husband proposed to me… And where I also ate the best shawarma on the face of the planet. LOL! TWO AMAZING MEMORIES – hahahahahahahaha!
He chose an awesome place!! And now I really want shawarma. :[
I remember seeing the ruins of King Arthur’s castle when I was 10. I loved it and would love to go back to Scotland someday!
Castles are so much fun to explore! :]!
I would love to hike there!
