Work With Me

Fairyburger is a food/travel/healthy living lifestyle blog run by a family medicine physician (me!). I love working with different people and companies/brands! Learn more about the different services I offer and how you can work with me below (click the graphic below to see my entire media kit!)!

Opportunities

Recipe Development*: I love food (both creating and consuming it!), and would be happy to adapt or create recipes for your company or product!

Freelance Writing/Sponsored Posts*: I am available to write on topics that work with my goals with Fairyburger as a blog. I am primarily interested in promoting healthy living to my readers (by dietary modifications or physical activity/fitness).

*Examples of recipes and sponsored posts can be found here! I am not currently accepting guest posts on my blog.

Reviews/Giveaways: Do you have a health, fitness, food or skincare product that you believe my readers would enjoy? Let me know! I will only promote products that I’ve tested, liked/loved, and would use! My past [paid/unpaid] reviews, product mentions, and/or giveaways can be found here!

(Please note that I am not interested in any “quick-fix” weight loss/detox programs or MLM/pyramid-type sales programs. Thank you for your understanding.)

Brand/Product Ambassadorships & Sponsorships: I am especially interested in brands and products that promote healthy dietary and living habits. Please contact me if you feel your brand is the right fit, and we can work together to promote it!

Conferences / Event Work: I’m currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area (specifically the East Bay)! If you have a conference, event, or fitness class that my readers would appreciate, I’d love to check them out if it works with my schedule! Please contact me to work out the details.

Local Restaurant Reviews: If you have a restaurant in the Bay Area, feel free to contact me about showcasing your restaurant! My only food restrictions are pork and seafood other than fish–otherwise I’m game for most other things!

For rates regarding any of the above, please contact me by email (fairyburger [at] gmail [dot] com)!

  1. Good afternoon,

I saw that you are in the same Food/Recipe blog group in Blog love on Facebook. I have proposal for you. You don’t have to do it. I wanted to do a Thanksgiving recipe posts for the first week of November. Then I thought, let me show some love to my fellow bloggers who do recipe posts and see if they can help.

I wanted to feature you and a recipe of your liking in my blog. Well, a recipe that someone with a nickel allergy can eat. Here is foods I have to avoid.

Here are food, I can eat. There are probably more but those were the only ones I could think of from the avoid list.

I know this can be a bit of a challenge but it will make you more aware of what people with food allergies go through and exposed to a different audience. It can also be a good blog post on your adventures on catering to people with food allergies.

    Thank you,

    Barbara (Nickely Challenged)

    1. Hi!

Thanks so much for stopping by! :] That’s an awesome idea! I’m always up for a challenge in terms of coming up with recipes, and I think it’d be great to raise more awareness for people with food allergies.

Off the top of my head, I’m not sure if any of my recipes are nickel-free, but if I don’t find one that works, I’ll come up with one!

I should probably mention that I actually just got back to the states from vacation today, and will be starting up my ER rotation this upcoming week, so there may be a slight delay, but I’ll see what I can do! :]

I hope you have a great weekend!

  2. Hey Farrah I wanted to see if you got my emails regarding the book tour… I got a weird email today saying it never went through.

    1. Hey! The last email I got from you was from August 18–I did send you an email about a day ago regarding one of the images from the HTML code that wasn’t showing up though! :O

  3. Huge fan and dare I even say that I have a “crush” on Farrah Fong! Love visiting her blog and checking out her posts, writings, and learning from her experiences. I feel like we have many things in common, as we are both medical students (she is a little bit ahead of me). I look forward to staying in contact with and continuing to learn from Farrah Fong, the one and only Fairyburger :)

    1. hahaha, thanks so much, good sir! Great “meeting” you, and I hope the rest of medical school treats you well! :D

  5. Hi Farrah.
You are doing so much with your life! How do you have time to do all of it? Can I ask you for a small favor? Can you read my end of year review post and let me know if I’m on the right track with my blog? I just wanted someone who has been blogging longer than me to give me a little feedback? You really seem to know what you are doing. I wish you the best of luck this year with your doctoral studies and blog. You are an inspiration to all of us.
