Happiness is packages of awesomeness in the mail. Through my partnership with Fit Approach, I received a giant box from Amazing Grass while I was at home!
Wanna guess what was in it!?
I’m definitely dragging a bunch of this to New Jersey with me! I was super excited about pretty much everything in the box, but let’s break it down real quick! :]
Amazing Grass recently began combining their organic Green Superfoods with organic plant-based protein! :D! They are also…
- USDA Organic
- Gluten-Free
- Non-GMO
- Vegan
There are three different flavors to choose from: Original, Pure Vanilla, and Chocolate Peanut Butter. Given my history of pounding down Reeses Pieces, I’m obviously a sucker for Chocolate + PB, so I went with that one!
You can buy them in a regular container (includes 10 servings) or as 10 packages ($5 more). Each serving contains…
- 190 calories
- 11g CHO’s (6g dietary fiber + 4g sugars)
- 7g fat
- 20g protein
- 340mg sodium
- 420mg potassium
- 7 servings of alkalizing greens
- 2 full servings of fruits + veggies!

I’m also super excited about the other goodies in the box (yay for green living!) That mason jar is definitely going to come into handy, and I love that it comes with a cap that I can stick a straw through!
In an effort to lessen waste, grocery stores in the bay area charge now for plastic bags. As a result, reusable totes are especially awesome around here, and I’ve been meaning to do more regular stretching, so that yoga towel (it’s so soft <3) will be great for my yoga mat!
I rarely use ice in my drinks because my teeth are rather sensitive to the cold (I’m a slow ice cream eater too ._.), but I can usually get by with chilling drinks using frozen fruit! :] This was a great pick-me-up smoothie for me in between my TA-ing for Twirly Girls Pole Fitness in the morning and going for a hike up Mission Peak with my brother in the afternoon! :]
For the record, the mango is the “J” part of PB&J, just in case you were wondering. I figured throwing in some other type of fruit would be fun, and we had a bunch of ripe mangos at home, so why not!? I do not have fancy cups/glasses at home, so you get my cat mug. <3
Chocolate Mango PB&J
Ingredients:
- 1 serving Protein Superfood – Chocolate Peanut Butter
- 1/2 – 1 frozen banana (use whole banana if you want a thicker/creamier texture), chopped
- 1/2 mango, chopped
- 8 oz vanilla soy milk
Instructions:
- Incorporate all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve cold!
- What flavor would you choose?
- Are you a fan of mason jars!? If you have em’, what do you use them for?

Me too! It’s one of my favorite fruits! :D
Apparently in this realm I’m a huge smile aware :-) I am off to buy the amazing grass today. I need to shake things up around here – – pun intended :-) – – and this seems perfect.

Yes indeed! :]!!!
I would chose anything with chocolate! I don’t care too much for mason jars. I mean, I can use a regular cup or glass right?

haha, of course! I don’t have any glasses, so mason jars are my substitute! :P
I can totally get on board with this! :-) Looks and sounds super tasty!

Yay! I hope you find it + like it! :D!
Loving your recipe here! I’ve been obsessed with mango lately and I’ve been adding it to everything from salads to oatmeal, but I haven’t thought of doing a smoothie yet. I recently got some Amazing Grass of my own and can’t wait to try this out.

Cute little smoothie glass and sipping lid! And your smoothie sounds pretty good too! I so typically just do PB and Choco but PB and Fruit would also be delicious!
