We were exercising the whole “cook with ingredients you already have at home” thing, so we decided to make this! We were completely winging it in terms of the quantities since there wasn’t an actual recipe to follow, but I think this turned out pretty effing amazing. *-* Not to brag or anything. (We were really hungry. ;_; )
Candied Garlic Chicken
Ingredients:
-honey
-garlic, minced
-soy sauce
-balsamic vinegar
-chicken (remove the fat)
-crushed sesame
-white button mushrooms, sliced
-1 small onion, diced
-EVOO
Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350. Drizzle baking dish with a little EVOO. Add garlic, mushrooms and onions, then chicken.
2) Add a drizzle of soy sauce and balsamic vinegar. Pour honey (to taste). Sprinkle with crushed sesame.
3) Bake for 20-25 minutes or until chicken is cooked. Sprinkle with some more crushed sesame and serve with rice.
