I made Baked Apple Cider Donuts a couple years back and figured I’d bring it back with a twist! Since chocolate and peanut butter is a classic combination, I put em’ together
I love that they have so many different sprinkles–themed or otherwise–to choose from! (I received free product in exchange for recipe development, but as per usual, all thoughts/opinions are mine and mine alone!)
The Sprinkle Pop instagram is kindasorta rather intimidating to me because I’m not much of a baker, but if you’re ever in need of inspiration for gorgeous and amazing dessert ideas, make sure you check it out (and don’t forget to enter the giveaway at the bottom of this post)!
They dye their sprinkle blends in house, so if you don’t happen to find something you like, let them know, and they’ll come up with a custom blend perfect for you!
For the record, I’ve pretty much never tried making frosting ever in my life aside from the Raspberry Coconut Cream frosting a couple years back, so you’ll have to bear with me!
I still have a bunch of sprinkles left so I’m definitely planning on coming up with more things later on this year, once interview season is over and the hectic-ness dies down at least a tad…. (Guess who flew to California last week on Wednesday evening for an interview on Thursday and returned to New Jersey on Friday morning in time for 7am lectures followed by my research block, 4 hours of didactics, and a football game to cover? ._. On the plus side, because I managed to do that, I still have one whole half-day left to go on an interview somewhere, so at least there’s that!)

I’ve only made em’ 3 times in my life but may have to do it more! There are so many tasty varieties out there! *-*
These donuts have my name all over it! Digging the flavour
Thanks! I combined a bunch of the things I loved, hahaha. :D
OMG. They look delish. I want one now!
Thank you! :D
Those sure look like a tasty treat! Gotta have the colorful sprinkles on top
They were so cute!! I can’t wait to use em’ on other things! :D
These sound fabulous!!!!!!
Thanks, Mandy! :]
I don’t think I’ve ever had an apple-flavored donut…add in the chocolate and peanut butter, and you have a great flavor combo!
There’s only the slightest hint of apple in it from the cider since I didn’t use too much–it’s mostly the chocolate peanut butter, but I liked having the entire combo! :]
I know a lot of people who would love this recipe – including me. May need to make a double batch.
Yay! Hope you like it!
These are so cute and festive and the flavor combo sounds fantastic!
The sprinkles are my favorite!! They’re so cute!
You absolutely cannot go wrong with peanut butter and chocolate. An awesome flavor combo.
Agreed! It’s such a classic! :D
I have never made doughnuts! but that’s a food item that is realllllly dangerous for me to make. Doughnuts aren’t popular here at all… at least they weren’t until a couple years ago. Now we have a few DD locations… luckily not in my city but…
my favorite fall food is definitely chile con or sin carne. I could eat that stuff every day (especially the way my husband makes it!)
you’ve been busy!! hopefully all the running around pans out to something good!
haha, they’re definitely super addicting! I try to give stuff away so I don’t end up eating too much of it! :P
Ahh, those both sound amazing! I haven’t eaten lunch yet so I’m super hungry! *-*
I really hope so too! Thank you! :]!
These look so delicious! Loving the twist on this class PB & Chocolate combo…YUM!!!
