Welcome to Foodie Friday! It’s been about a billion years since I last posted a recipe (I’m sorry), not entirely because I haven’t been cooking at all…but yes, partially because of that. I figured I’d start small by way of this super easy Air Fryer Cashew Butter Banana Toast!
My mom got an air fryer not too long ago and has been experimenting with stuff lately, so I figured I might try as well! This is a variation on one of my classic easy-snack favorites. I ate this all the time in med school (with peanut butter) because it was cheap/easy to make and fairly filling.
I should probably throw in a disclaimer that this wasn’t entirely made in the air fryer. If you wanna get super fancy, you could probably spread some butter on your toast, and pop it into the air fryer basket for about 2 minutes on 320 F.
I didn’t do the butter part since I was already going to be throwing cashew butter on it, but it’s a potential option if you’d like! I have a bunch of different nut butters I’ve been meaning to make stuff with, so what better time than now, right?
This recipe in particular makes use of NOW Foods’ Nutty Infusions Salted Caramel Cashew Butter, so not a sponsored post and you could absolutely use a different type of nut butter, but not gonna lie, this was pretty darn tasty.

If you feel like roasted bananas in a pan, this could be doable there too! (I was just too lazy. The less effort involved, the better, ahaha.)
This looks yummy and super simple. Now I just need to get an air fryer. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! :D I’m all for easy recipes lately (and always, if I’m to be honest :P ).

That cashew butter looks delicious! I love the creaminess it imparts. Take care!
Thank you! :] Hope you have a good weekend!
Sounds kind of yummy (says the gal who doesn’t particularly like bananas) ;-) If I ever get an air fryer, that would be the way to get me to eat more bananas…I don’t like them raw, but “cooked” or baked is another story.
hehehe, I feel like I didn’t ever tried “cooked”/baked bananas until maybe a decade ago, but it’s so good! :D!
I’ve heard about the versatility of an air fryer. Cashew nut butter and banana toast sounds like a great combo!
I’m definitely gonna need to experiment more with it! :]
