It’s almost the end of Choctoberfest! If you haven’t already entered the giveaway, make sure you go check that out! I’m back today with one more chocolate-themed recipe–a Chocolate Egg Cream! This recipe is also a drink and also has a vegan option. (If you haven’t ever had chocolate milk tea, check out this recipe!)
It only takes 4 ingredients to make (yay!) and is a super quick recipe! I’d never had an egg cream before today and possibly had never even heard of it before, but better late than never, right?
The name was a tad confusing to me since this contains neither egg nor cream (…), but I assume it’s called this because it tastes kinda creamy! It’s basically like having chocolate soda! I’m usually not even a fan of carbonated drinks, but I like how refreshing this drink is!
If you’re vegan, you can technically use any type of milk and use maple syrup as the sweetener instead of honey. (It probably tastes better with dairy milk though.)
