Welcome to our weekly Foodie Friday link up! I’m linking up with Annmarie from the Fit Foodie Mama+ Esther from Chocolate Runner Girl to create awesome healthy recipes each week! This week’s theme is Vegan/Vegetarian!
Hello everyone! I have a super simple 4-ingredient recipe for you today becauseee I’m on vacation and visiting friends/my stand-in family + hanging out with adorable animals at the moment!
(Translation: I’m back at Please Save A Cat!)
Peppermint Patty has always been super shy so I’ve never interacted with her much, but over the last couple days, she’s been spending time with me and shyly demanding pats and cuddles! <3
I recently found out about “Killer Jim’s Bread” from Linda (aka my WV mommy). The real name issss “Dave’s Killer Bread!” It’s delicious, and I love that their company believes in fostering sustainable + organic farming, and gives back to the community. They also hire people who have a criminal background who are ready to change their lives for the better.
They make all kinds of different breads that are:
- USDA organic
- Non-GMO
- Packed with whole grain nutrition
They also don’t use any high fructose corn syrup or artificial preservatives/ingredients!
Their 21 Whole Grains and Seeds + their Powerseed bread = 100-120 calories, 5g protein, 5g fiber, 2g fat per slice, and are sweetened only with organic fruit juices! :] (Powerseed only has 1g sugar/slice!)

Agreed! It makes such a great snack! :]
Is that bourbon pecan peanut butter from World Market? I want to get some every time I go there…then I don’t because I think it would be easy to make…but then I never get around to making it. I should probably just buy some, huh?

I got the bourbon pecan peanut butter from Kroger (we found it in the clearance section!), but it does sound like something World Market might have!! I hope you get to pick some up from somewhere! :D

Dave’s Killer Bread is my favorite, it’s sooo good. Love the seedy one. Bourbon pecan PB sounds amazing!
I’m gonna need to try out their other varieties! :D!!

Sometimes the simplest things are the most delicious! That PB sounds AMAZING!
When it comes to toast, I usually keep it simple with either avocado, cream cheese or PB and banana!

Simple is best! <3 I just had PB + banana yesterday! :]
I used to make a variation of this toast all the time with bagel thins! So delicious! I definitely need to start doing it again :)

Yay for bagel thins! I haven’t had those in forever, but they’d be a wonderful vehicle for this as well! :D
